A painful launching down the slidway

The blades of the clock-hands
Are slicing the time into by
Far shorter bits. They slide off
The clock-face and swarm in the air
As buzzing around Death's bees.
This is the vision you see from
Your world that lives in the darkness
Behind your eyelids where your dream's
Like a fly that for a moment in its flight
Sees itself a butterfly reflected in
A nightingale's eye, but the next second
It will die !

In the trance of meditation
On the nature of the blue
Like a brightly coloured fish
Gliding in the blue sea-water
You don't care your time is
Crawling like a spider smeared

Has the sense of humor, too !

We live on the edge
Of perpetual moment

Turning the maybe into the was

What seems now big,
Will shrink into small.
